The Treasury Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the Corporate Finance and Treasury team with the day-to-day management of AP/AR, championing the expense report and invoice web application, and monthly reporting requirements. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented with an eagerness to learn and work across a broad range of Corporate Finance and Treasury responsibilities. This role requires an individual who is motivated to collaborate cross-functionally while also taking the initiative to independently work on related analysis and process improvement recommendations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support full cycle overheads management and reporting for US organization
  • Serve as super user for Concur and AMEX. Includes billing statement reconciliations, card program rewards tracking and
  • Support Concur expense reporting, invoice and PR modules – including managing system inquiries from Global HQ office team
  • Pro-actively interacts with employees on matters related to overheads and Concur system and promptly answers internal inquires
  • Manage training of new hires on Concur system and T&E policy
  • Responsible for timely AR/Lockbox postings and required customer follow-up to ensure postings are fully processed in SAP
  • Perform ad hoc reporting of AP/AR activity
  • Support Treasury Manager in banking fee analysis, producing daily cash position and liquidity planning
  • Strongly enforce Corporate Finance internal controls and processes
  • Assist in month-end accounting close responsibilities; including required expense and accrual postings, AP/AR balance analysis in SAP, and overheads reporting
  • Oversee weekly payment run with AP team
  • Oversee SAP postings by AP team, especially related to intercompany invoices and exception processing
  • Support routine internal and external audit requests
  • Produce ad-hoc Excel-based analysis where necessary
  • Develop an intermediate understanding of Edrington and spirits business 

Knowledge, Skills & Core Competencies Required

  • Requires a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience; Concentration in accounting, economics, or finance is preferred
  • At least 2 years of full-time Finance related experience
  • High degree of proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office suite products
  • SAP and Concur experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
