Position Summary

 

Trade Marketing Manager is the link between the Marketing and the Commercial teams, as well the  role will support the Commercial team and work close to the 3rd Party Distributors network for a perfect execution of Edrington Brands Plans and Strategies in the Region.

 

Our Goal in México is to grow our Premium Portfolio, such as Macallan, Highland Park, Glenrothes, Partid and Brugal.   A key Success Factor for this role is to deliver a world class implementation of Macallan Brand Building Model throughout our Key Cities Guadalajara & Monterrey

 

 

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Work in partnership with the Commercial and Costumer Teams to plan and assist in the implementation of the Marketing Plans
  • Support our Regional Team.
  • Work alongside the local Brand Teams to design, implement and execute Brand plans from the Field level
  • Secure excellence in the implementation of The Macallan Brand Building Model. Directly supporting the Commercial team an Costumer and coordinating with Global Team in Scotland and Marketing team in US.
  • Develop and adapt global BTL educational tools to support local needs for Macallan brand Ambassadors and Distributors in each market
  • Evaluate BTL and PR activities, document and communicate key learning’s
  • Manage relevant Brand Ambassadors KPI’s with standard review processes
  • Promote and effectively share best practices amongst markets in the Region by promoting and implementing regional workshops
  • Manage the Marketing Plan Cycle
  • Knowledge, Skills & Core Competencies Required

    • Requires a Bachelor’s Degree
    • FMCG sales management experience, adult beverage industry preferred
    • Trade marketing and/or brand management experience highly desirable
    • Experience working with Costumers
    • A proven track record in a change oriented, matrix management organization
    • Understanding of Brand Ambassadors role
    • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel skills and PowerPoint is essential with the ability to work with data from multiple data sources for reporting and ad hoc analysis
    • Luxury goods market experience
    • Positive attitude and out-going team player who has a flexible approach to work
    • Must be able to work and develop relationships in a cross-functional team
    • Demonstrate a proactive approach and drive to improve current procedures and processes
    • Excellent communication skills, good in influencing and persuading others
    • Bilingual: Spanish & English
    • Travel requirement up to 40-50% as needed to perform job function
    • Must be at least 25 years of age
