The purpose of the Revenue Analyst is to ensure pricing is executed in-line with each brand’s vision. As pricing dictates our revenue stream, the ideal candidate will possess the relentless attention to detail necessary to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the complexities of pricing in the spirits industry. This role will interface with various internal and external customers, so the ability to communicate clearly across a multitude of mediums is critical.  In addition, the ideal candidate will exhibit an eagerness to learn, ability to adapt, persistence to resolve, and patience to succeed in the long term.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as principal custodian of Edrington’s pricing system (Vistaar/CSCO), responsible for ensuring that all data migrates successfully to SAP and all key users are properly supported in establishing correct pricing.
  • Responsible for reconciling Deal Organizer with Edrington’s pricing system.
  • Liaise with Edrington Accounting and Divisional Customer Service leads, surrounding pricing errors.
  • Provide analytics and elasticity studies using pricing/volume trends in Control States and other industry sources.
  • Ensure markets provide pricing in a timely manner in order to review and execute price for both price posting states and Control states.
  • Ability to understand and develop price ladders/P&Ls for strategic decision making on a State and Key Account level.
  • Support the Commercial Finance team in the annual budget process as well as quarterly forecasts and key market reviews – focused on pricing.
  • Take initiative in identifying and resolving issues around pricing and margin.
  • Work cross-functionally with Finance, Sales, and Marketing teams in identifying support requirements and providing assistance across a broad range of projects.
  • Perform ad-hoc Excel-based analysis and modeling where necessary.

Knowledge, Skills & Core Competencies Required

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Concentration in technical field such as finance, economics, computer science, statistics, or engineering is preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in financial analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills are required - Must be able to work with/consolidate large spread sheets from multiple data sources for reporting and ad hoc analysis. Working knowledge of other Microsoft Office Products preferred.
  • Analytic thinker and creative problem solver.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Proficiency with SQL and VBA is a plus.
  • Ability to legally work in the US.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
