The Pricing Analyst will report directly to Commercial finance director and be a key member of Commercial finance team. This role will be responsible for working with cross functional teams to ensure pricing strategies executions that are tied to brand strategy, maintain competitiveness within and across channels and drive long term growth and profitability. This candidate must be able to communicate clearly with different groups within the company as well as outside the company. The ideal candidate will need to be comfortable working in a lean structure and take initiatives and drive positive changes across the business.

Job Responsibilities

  • Review pricing structures submission from commercial team and partner with division CFMs to ensure pricing strategy executed consistently nationwide and in alignment with brand strategy
  • Conduct pricing analysis to identify opportunities to enhance profitability by understanding market/product volume trends, allocations and category and competitive environment
  • Partner with BI and CI teams on competitive products research and identify competitive products pricing information as part of the pricing analysis process
  • Lead price survey conducted twice a year and analyze survey results and summarize and present key findings to stakeholders
  • Review selling cost trends and evaluate effectiveness of deal levels and make recommendations
  • Collaborate with the team during the budget and forecast process and ensure NSV and selling cost rates are updated in both TM1 and SAP system
  • Conduct pricing elasticity analysis for control states and chain accounts
  • Support annual price increase implementation process delivering excellence and 100% pricing integrity
  • Participate in quarterly S&OP meetings as a member of the commercial finance team and develop strong understanding of commercial business and lead any discussion and action points around pricing
  • Act as key point of contact for Vistaar, our pricing management tools - own the development of ongoing changes, processes and admin within the system
  • Ensure control in place for pricing approvals and integrity of the pricing data uploaded to SAP system
  • Provide trainings to commercial team on pricing system and structures to enhance commercial
  • team capability
  • Build and foster a solid business partnership with the commercial team and CFMs in order to drive business decisions that will maximize the value of our sales

Knowledge, Skills & Core Competencies Required

  • Bachelor's degree in business or other discipline is required (e.g., mathematics, economics, finance)
  • Previous pricing experiences are required
  • Minimum of 3 years work experience in finance/pricing analysis
  • Advanced Excel skills are required. Working knowledge of other Microsoft Office Products preferred.
  • Knowledge of Cognos and SAP are preferred
  • Exceptional ability to extract strategic insights from large data sets and think outside the box to drive process improvement
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast paced environment
  • Must be able to work and develop relationships in a cross-functional team
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach and positive attitude and out-going team player who has a flexible approach to work
  • Ability to legally work in the US
  • Must be 21 years of age
