Marketing Associate - Americas Travel Retail - Florida

The Marketing Associate role provides support to the Regional Marketing Manager with the strategy, planning and developing of consumer and trade marketing programs as well as monitoring competitive activity.   

Job Responsibilities

Marketing Management
  • Under the supervision and guidance of the Regional Marketing Manager, develop the localize consumer marketing programing with commercial team and operator.
  • Participate in the implementation of promotional and trade marketing plan for products/lines
  • Support the management of third party brands and act as the primary contact for the accounts
  • Assist with the creation of monthly reports including activations and sales performance of products and launches results
  • Manage Marketing Spend (A&P) which includes budget management and planning. This would include overall Nexus management.
  • Ensure all local market activities are consistent with Brand Standards and Marketing Guidelines.
  • Own the development, management of and insights derived from any reporting systems and market resources available (IWSR, Generation Report, PaxMart etc.)
  • Work with Regional Marketing Manager to leverage insights proactively in our communications, Analysis of market, competition and consumer data to make recommendations to management and selling tools.
  • Maintaining merchandising and visibility database (permanent display, number of facings, etc.)
  • Coordinate fixture installations following project timelines.
  • Assisting in key projects including preparation of supporting trade/customer presentations, QBR Meetings and liaison with relevant internal and external contacts.
  • Develop & submit the annual brand, budget and marketing calendar under RMM approval, ensuring A&P process compliance: uploading budgets, managing commitments, monthly trackers, quarterly phasing, Purchase Orders.
  • Coordinate trainings, providing a full understanding of the brand fundamentals and promotion mechanics, in a comprehensive way, to ensure good communication to final consumers.
  • Interact effectively with other departments (sales, logistic, etc.) to support marketing objectives
  • GWP and POS management.
Public & Press Relations
  • Manage and lead all corporate events (press trips, BA Seminars, customer seminar, etc.) from planning to execution.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of all local market press events.
  • Input all local clipping reports in the Web Press Report.
  • Ensure brand messages are accurately conveyed in all media through Press Kits and direct communication.
Digital Marketing
  • Supply images/artwork for local LATAM and US Facebook accounts. Liaise with HQ.
  • Supply corporate guidelines and images for all operators’ e-commerce sites.
  • Communicate and implement the brand’s digital strategy with all key operators.
  • Manage the usage of all digital tools available

Knowledge, Skills & Core Competencies Required

  • Requires a Bachelor’s Degree (MS is a plus).
  • 2-3+ years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel skills, PowerPoint and Photoshop is essential with the ability to work with data from multiple data sources for reporting and ad hoc analysis.
  • Positive attitude and out-going team player who has a flexible approach to work.
  • Must be able to work and develop relationships in a cross-functional team.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish is required.
  • Strong project management skills, attention to detail and the ability to meet aggressive deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to help your team win.
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize efforts in a fast-paced, change oriented environment where continuous innovation is required.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach and drive to improve current procedures and processes.
