HR Manager - Miami, FL

The HR Manager will work at our Miami Office and will be in charge of leading a broad range of HR responsibilities, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, career development, compensation, compliance, benefits and employee programs. The HR Manager will provide proactive support to the HR Director in the execution of HR activities that support the business. Working in close partnership with the Headquarter HR team based in Scotland is key to the success of this role.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
HR processes - Oversee the daily operations of our processes. Manage related communication, follow-up with employees and third party providers. This includes:
  • On-boarding & Termination
  • Performance, Talent, salary Review
  • Training and development
  • HRIS and employee files management
  • ​Payroll processing
 Benefits Management - Manage all Company Benefits Programs, Open Enrolment and Leaves. From Plan selection to implementation, employee communication and training. Ensure a smooth relationship with our providers and employees.
  • Medical, Dental and vision
  • FSA, Transit
  • 401k
  • Life insurance, STD and LTD
  • Administer FMLA and unpaid leaves, workers comp
  • Time Off and wellness programs
Talent acquisition - Manage the entire Recruitment & Staffing process, from posting to offer letter. Making sure all steps are being followed. Acting as a true partner to all line Managers.
Compliance and Legal requirements – Is responsible for the compliance of all our policies and procedures. Takes a proactive and innovative approach on how to approach new regulations coming in.

  • States/City specific requirements

Knowledge, Skills & Core Competencies Required

  • Five years of Human Resources Generalist experience
  • ​Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
  • BA minimum. Master’s in HR preferred
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Benefits Management, Legal and Compliance
  • ​Prior managerial experience strongly desirable
  • Knowledge of staffing and employment practices
  • Experience working for a multi states based company is a plus
  • Payroll Management, Visa, employment laws and regulations knowledge is required 
  • Experience working for a global company is a plus
  • Project Management experience
  • Computer savvy, Systems implementations experience is a plus
  • Conducts self with integrity, maintaining confidentiality and sound judgement
  • Excellent problem-solving, prioritization and organization skills
  • Collaborative team player with ability to work independently
  • Adept at working with all levels and disciplines within organization
  • Experience dealing with employees in a professional manner
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Eligible to work in the US
