The Finance and Supply Chain Manager will be an integral role for the Americas Travel Retail (AMTR) leadership team. This role will report into the Managing Director – AMTR, and will be responsible for ensuring best in class financial support, as well as ensuring that supply chain enhances business development and delivers customer satisfaction. This role will also work closely with the sales & marketing teams to add value to business support. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for financial analysis and support to the sales & marketing teams
  • Ensure that business objectives are incorporated in analysis, reporting, and decision making activities. This includes key financial metrics, e.g. minimum pricing guidelines, brand objectives, market dynamics, stock allocations, and A&P investment criteria across key customers, locations, and brands
  • Lead annual strategic plans and ongoing forecasts for stakeholders
  • Manage reporting and contribute to the monthly P&L postings for AMTR
  • Responsible for detailed analysis and presentation of customer sell out data
  • Effectively communicate and liaise with key stakeholders, e.g. AMTR leadership team, NY support team, Customer Service in Glasgow, and Global Travel Retail team in Singapore
  • Contribute to process improvement plans for the business and finance department
  • Effectively communicate financial information to key holders to help them quickly understand key drivers and take appropriate action if necessary.
  • Lead Commercial Finance, Financial Accounting, and Supply Chain teams for Americas Travel Retail
Commercial Finance:
  • Report management information to the business in an accurate and timely manner
  • Develop financial management tools and reports
  • Lead the annual budget, quarterly forecast, and month end processes
  • Drive the understanding and development of customer profitability & investment appraisal
  • Drive continuous improvement of the analytical capabilities & insights
  • Ensure timely & accurate reporting of customer sell out data
  • Support strategic projects
Financial Accounting:
  • Collaborate with New York finance team with accounting procedures, including AR, AP, and credit control
  • Key contact between local operating company (LOC) & group finance
Supply Chain:
  • Ensure the sales & operations planning process is best in class
  • Manage relationship with external 3rd party logistic provider in Miami (WTDC), and brand owners (Tito’s, Sazerac & Ilva)
  • Oversee malts allocation process in conjunction with Global Travel Retail in Singapore
  • Develop supply chain management tools & reports
  • Key contact between LOC and Global travel retail
  • Supervise and coach supply chain team
This role will involve collaborating with various departments in the organization in different time zones.  Occasional travel is required. Participation in bi-monthly early/late hour calls with Global Travel Retail headquarters based in Singapore will be required. Frequent collaboration with New York office.

Knowledge, Skills & Core Competencies Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree required with a professional financial qualification (e.g. CPA, CIMA or ACCA); MBA preferred
  • 6-8 years of experience working in an international and complex business environment; operational experience with an export/international organization preferred
  • Strong financial, business analysis, and management reporting skills
  • Strong logical and problem solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence key stakeholders and thrive in a matrix reporting environment
  • Experience working with IBM Planning Analytics and SAP systems
  • Advanced MS Excel, PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to learn new reporting systems quickly
  • Bilingual English and Spanish, preferred
  • Eligible to work in the US
  • At least 21 years of age
