Division Marketing Manager - South Division - Miami, FL

The Division Marketing Manager role is to build the Divisional Marketing process, localize brand plans, and long term investment strategy to ensure brand value and growth goals are met.  The role will work in partnership with Edrington’s commercial and marketing team and key Distributor partners.  This position is responsible for supervising the Edrington Brand Ambassadors. This position will help to program support and investment across the Edrington portfolio based on strategic imperatives.  This position will work to build brand salience in the division in collaboration with the brand teams. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Work in partnership with the Brand Team to develop brand plans and blueprints,
  • Act as the primary conduit between the VP Division Manager, Brand Marketing team, Commercial team, and Distributor Client Services
  • Responsible for representing a brand in all phases of yearly programing
  • Responsible for developing innovative Blue Prints with brand manager
  • Commitment to the Brand Partnership philosophy and Solution Loop
  • Responsible for A markets within the division. Develop the localize consumer marketing programing calendar with local team and distributor partners.Align on all programing and follow up on execution.
  • Responsible for the overall marketing and execution plan for the division which include bottom up planning and local consumer driving activities.
  • Localize (customize) brand blueprints for A markets with local distributor client service team incorporating account segmentation into the programming
  • Review and approve Annual brand planning and local program budget for B & C markets
    Provide strategic direction on brand spend across local activity and help prioritize brand opportunities and brand resources such as Brand Ambassadors and KAMsWork to build saliency with local influencers and build brand equity within the market.
  • Responsible for working with local team, distributor partner, and key national account to establish programming for the year in line with Edrington Planning Calendar.
  • Responsible for the overseeing of EBA and Fire Starter program in Division; ensuring plans and activities are driving brand and commercial strategies
  • Lead marketing for all key regional "national" accounts to ensure brand messaging and fully integrated programs are presented.
  • Measures and report all local spend and share best practice across entire organization
  • Rollout best practices within the division to other markets to test effectiveness.
  • Analyse market data and brand performance to determine any opportunities for the brands
  • Ensure brand standards and legal compliance are adhered to across all local activities
  • Leads efforts to ensure the Division team and distributor efforts are focused on appropriate consumer targets, accounts, geographies, and channels in order to achieve long term objectives
  • Drive a leading global luxury brand to deliver yearly profit growth and simultaneously grow brand equity
  • Cultivate "blue sky" opportunities for a strong core business that are innovative and breakthrough across the portfolio.Leverage the brand spend in market such as corporate gifting programs, Influencer dinners
  • Support the continued evolution of the Edrington Americas business to develop gold-standard organizational capabilities within the division.
  • Participates in A QBRs where appropriate to ensure brand objectives are addressed and achieved while upholding brand value
  • Provide training and coaching across the division in order to develop appropriate skills across all disciplines and ways of working
  • Develop process and oversee all Blitz and key focus periods
  • Responsible for owning and managing the regional lighthouse accounts with local brand ambassadors and market managers.
  • Responsible for the clear communication within the division which would include best practices, brand guidelines or programs, and key initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills & Core Competencies Required

  • Requires a Bachelor’s Degree
  • FMCG marketing management experience, adult beverage industry preferred.
  • 4 + years in a marketing or agency role is essential
  • Trade marketing and/or brand management experience highly desirable
  • A proven track record in a change oriented and entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is essential
  • Ability to work with data from multiple data sources for reporting and ad hoc analysis
  • An ability to coach and mentor
  • Good organizational awareness and the ability to manage complexity
