Edrington Americas is searching for a Division Brand Associate to join our team in California.  The Division Brand Associate provides support to the Division Brand Manager with local brand programming activities such as creating, establishing and refining process systems and support tools. The role will provide relevant metrics and qualitative feedback from the local field teams to assist with program evaluation and implications for future investment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Under the supervision and guidance of the Division Brand Manager, this role will develop the local consumer marketing programming with the support of local team and distributors
  • Develop the local annual brand plan and activation process
  • Customize brand blueprints with the local distributor client service team
  • Customize Lighthouse Management for key The Macallan accounts
  • Manage the marketing spend for markets of responsibility; includes overall budget management and forecasting
  • Ensure all local market activities are consistent with Brand Standards and Marketing Guidelines
  • Take ownership of the development and management of insights reporting systems
  • Work with Division Brand Manager to leverage insights proactively in communications and selling tools
  • Serve as the division lead for consumer activation events and agency managed tastings
  • Act as the primary point of contact for local agency partners and field teams
  • Provide on-going evaluation and recommendations for programs, processes, and reporting system improvements
  • Serve as the Division facilitator and conduit between the Division Team, Brand Marketing, and Agency partners
  • Provide meaningful input into agency performance review and evaluation
  • Periodically conduct survey with field teams to gain insight on programs and support tools effectiveness, competitive activity, etc.  
  • Participate in key field activities including blitzes, audits, execution of local events, planning and QBR meetings for B&C accounts
  • Partner with the local commercial team and conduct presentations at distributor meetings
  • Provide support for local National/Regional Accounts and activation

Knowledge, Skills & Core Competencies Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, or related field
  • 2-3+ years of brand management experience in a fast moving consumer goods industry, spirits industry a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is essential. Ability to work with data from multiple data sources for reporting and ad hoc analysis
  • Understanding of the three-tier distribution system, a plus
  • Enthusiastic, strategic thinker, team-oriented and able to work collaboratively with a variety of different teams, individuals and environments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
  • Ability to effectively prioritize in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Eligible to work in the US
  • This position requires travel up to 15%
  • In this position you should be able to demonstrate the leadership standards (Inspire, Change, Collaborate, Engage and Deliver) within your role on a day-to-day basis
